About Strength & Serenity Designs

A story of faith, family, resilience, and becoming.

Strength & Serenity Designs was born from one of the most challenging and transformative seasons of my life.

I am a U.S. Army veteran, a wife, a mother of three daughters, a grandmother of six, and a great-grandmother. My family is my heart, my motivation, and the reason I fight so hard to become the woman God always intended me to be.

But my journey hasn’t been easy.

I am also a recovering alcoholic. Eight months into my sobriety — just as I was learning to stand again — I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a moment that could have shattered me, but instead, God used it to reshape me. Through treatment, prayer, and the unwavering support of my husband, my daughters, and my entire family, I found a new kind of strength… a quiet, steady, God-guided strength that changed everything.

During that season, I felt a calling.

A whisper in my spirit to create something that would carry hope — not just for me, but for others walking their own battles. Something to remind people that healing has style, strength has a story, and beauty can rise from the hardest chapters of our lives.

That calling became Strength & Serenity Designs.

Every design reflects a piece of my journey:

resilience, faith, recovery, survivorship, and the grace to begin again — over and over if needed.

It is also a reflection of the love I have for my family, who have stood by me through every storm and celebrated every victory.

This boutique isn’t just a business.

It’s my testimony.

It’s a legacy for my daughters, my grandchildren, and my great-grandchild.

It’s a reminder that God restores, heals, and transforms — even when we can’t see the road ahead.

To everyone who finds this space:

Your story matters.

Your strength is real.

And you are never walking alone.
